The Client experience is at the heart of all their processes so a client service oriented outlook is paramount.

The Role

As the Chartered Paraplanner, duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Establishing a solid partnership with Advisers, offering an outstanding Paraplanning and tailored Client service that helps achieve business goals

  • To be competent and compliant during all stages of the research and report compilation
  • Collaborating with the Paraplanning Manager and Advisers to offer the best solutions to fit the Client’s needs and wants
  • Driving your own continual development, strengthening areas where you have gaps in knowledge, and to work collaboratively with other team members to improve skillset
  • Assisting the Paraplanning Manager in communicating and showcasing insights, rules, product, and tax changes to the broader team at monthly meetings.
  • Providing expertise in technical knowledge, eager to impart their skills and insights to the team

About you

As an experienced chartered Paraplanner you will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical paraplanning within a traditional financial planning environment
  • Essentially possess Chartered Status via the CII
  • Skills to a competent level in Adobe, Word, Excel and Outlook, alongside other system specific knowledge, to create all necessary documentation, templates, and reports to required guidelines
  • Experience of, and being comfortable participating in client facing meetings with advisers
  • Excellent communication - both verbal and written form

In summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, professional chartered paraplanner to join an excellent practice and genuinely add value to the client proposition. You will be working within a boutique practice where the client always comes first and provide a fundamentally essential role in the business to ensure ongoing success.
