As a Chef Coach, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training programs to aspiring chefs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to individuals pursuing a career in the culinary field.
  • Assess the progress and performance of trainees, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on activities.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to ensure the training content is relevant and aligned with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to continuously enhance the training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Act as a mentor, offering support and guidance to trainees throughout their learning journey.
  • Guide trainees in acquiring essential culinary skills, including knife techniques, food preparation, cooking methods, and menu development.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during training sessions and in the kitchen environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Significant experience as a Chef
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and menu planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively transfer knowledge and engage with learners.
  • Passionate about education and dedicated to the professional development of others.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt training techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Hold relevant culinary qualifications and certifications.

The role is based from home and visiting learners in the Somerset area so requires a driving license and a car - Mileage is covered at 45p per mile.
