What you'll be doing...
We are currently looking for a Casual Chef/Cook to join our catering team at Buchanan Green in Sheffield. As a Casual Chef/Cook you will be supporting the Chef Manager and covering shifts as of when required. This will be to cover the Chef/Cook line during holidays, sickness days off etc. There may also be the opportunity to cover and support other sites, however your own transport will be required for this. You will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team. At Buchanan Green we provide a breakfast and lunch service to the residents 7 days a week so shifts are day time only offering a good work/life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the food is to the highest standard
- Ensure the kitchen and service area are always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked
- Keep up to date with menus and what food is on offer
- Offer a warm and friendly service
- Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety are followed
Working Pattern: As and when required, 08:00 - 15:30
