Chef - Nursery

Our client, a vibrant nursery, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chef to join their team on a temporary basis in Manchester city Centre.- M1

As the Nursery Chef, you'll have the opportunity to create delicious and nutritious meals for the children, ensuring they receive a well-balanced diet.

This is a Monday to Friday role, from 9.00am to 3.00pm

Temporary for 2 weeks: 22/07/2024 - 02/08/2024

Pay: £13.50 - £14.00ph

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking meals for the children, considering any dietary requirements
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ordering ingredients as needed
• Collaborating with the team to plan menus that are both nutritious and appealing to the children
• Building relationships with the children, staff, and parents, creating a welcoming dining experience

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a chef
• A valid enhanced DBS certificate
• Passion for cooking and creating nutritious meals
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
