Berry Recruitment Darlington office are currently looking for temporary/temporary to permanent Chefs for schools, colleges and care settings within the Darlington area.

The working hours are to be discussed. They are usually around 8am-2pm , working Monday-Friday (possibly weekends sometimes)

Pay rate - £15.93 per hour, paid weekly in arrears PAYE.

Your role will include -

  • Ordering food
  • Monitoring and managing supplies within a budget
  • Developing relationships with food suppliers
  • Liaising with site manager
  • Complying with food safety legislation

Skills and experience you will need -

  • Enhanced DBS check is required
  • Level 2 food hygiene
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good standards of hygiene
  • Organised and methodical
  • Experience of catering
