Lubricants and oils are essential in the manufacturing process, they ensure machines run smoothly, reduce maintenance costs and overall increases the long-term performance of production lines.

Our client is a family run organisation, specialising in the development and manufacture of a wide range of lubricants used within the Textiles, Marine and Food industries.

We are seeking an experienced Chemical Compliance Lead to join the organisation ensuring UK and International regulatory requirements & quality standards are met for their products.

Key responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Ensuring regulatory compliance of lubricant products and submission of relevant documentation
  • Liaising with key internal & external stakeholders in the business to keep up to date on regulatory changes and restrictions on products
  • Communicating with R&D department and other teams for the regulatory review of new products

To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Understanding of GHS/CLP and international compliance requirements
  • Experience handling SDS authoring systems
  • Previous experience working within the lubricants industry would be highly beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across
