Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Chemistry Shift Technician to work within a laboratory environment to work for a successful manufacturing and production client based in King's Lynn.

You will be required to support the team in conducting Laboratory duties such as:

  • Sampling, correct labelling and quality control of incoming raw materials

  • Quality Control of intermediate and finished manufactured products.

  • Documenting test results on LIMS software

  • Population of certificates of analysis

  • Production of commercial samples at request of sales team

  • Preparation of samples for external analysis

  • Assist with label approvals

  • General laboratory housekeeping

You must be IT literate, mathematical minded and have excellent attention to detail.

The candidate should have a good background understanding of Chemistry.

The tasks carried out will all need to be completed with a high level of accuracy.

All training will be given however some relevant experience working in a lab or within quality control with a production environment is essential.

This is a permanent contract.

Working hours: This role is predominantly shift based. The hours are 06:00-14:30 and 14:15-22:45 on alternating
shifts.

Salary is depending on experience, between £23,000-£25,000.
