Following a period of unprecedented growth and diversification we need a dynamic Chief Commercial Officer to join the board to lead our commercial and marketing team to achieve the next phase of growth, and to deliver our 3-year plan.

For more than twenty years, Charis has been successfully operating as a business services enterprise, working as the trusted administrator and fulfilment service for many essential funds and grants, providing complex bespoke services to major organisations which include utility companies, local authorities, housing associations and charities. Success has been built and maintained by blending social, regulatory and commercial responsibilities, to provide innovative solutions to a rapidly expanding client base.

As Chief Commercial Officer you’ll have experience of working in a fast paced and highly commercial environment. At Charis you'll take full ownership of our growing Sales & Marketing function, leading a talented team to drive revenue growth, build key client relationships, and expand our portfolio of services.

You will:

  • Lead and inspire a newly formed commercial team, developing capabilities through positive management, coaching and forward planning, setting strategic direction and driving results.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth, diversification and expansion within our product and service portfolio.
  • Take the lead on the design and development of new products or services, clearly articulating the proposition to sell and ensuring supported by a commercially sound business case
  • Develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies to maximise revenue and client engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, industry leaders and regulatory bodies to stay ahead of trends.
  • Act as a senior brand ambassador, ensuring a consistent, high-quality approach to all client interactions.
  • Collaborate across teams to align commercial goals with overall business strategy.
