My client based in Teesside is a leading player in the manufacturing industry and currently seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join their executive team.

As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in steering the company through periods of financial growth and change, including potential mergers and acquisitions or private equity investments. Your expertise in financial leadership will be instrumental in driving the financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company’s financial planning, risk management, and reporting.
  • Drive the company’s financial performance, including capital structure and profitability.
  • Oversee all aspects of the finance department, including accounting, treasury, and corporate finance.
  • Develop and implement strategies for mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions.
  • Utilise NetSuite to enhance financial transparency and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other C-level executives to align financial management with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Accountant with a strong background in finance or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven experience in managing mergers and acquisitions or private equity.
  • In-depth knowledge of NetSuite and other financial management systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
