A prominent UK public sector organisation is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join their leadership team. This critical role requires an experienced technology leader to guide and transform the organisation's IT strategy and operations during an important phase of development.

Key Responsibilities;

- Lead the organisation's technological direction, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative IT solutions to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manage and mentor the IT department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify and address technology-related challenges and opportunities.
- Ensure robust cyber security measures and data protection practices are in place.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in IT governance, project management, and system integration.

Requirements;
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within the public sector.
- Strong track record of managing complex IT projects and driving digital transformation.
- In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies, with the ability to leverage them for organisational benefit.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of data security and compliance.
