Does frontline social work allow you to bring your best service to vulnerable children? Do you want to be a part of shaping something bigger with a local authority? Do you want to work with a coastal Local Authority?

This local authority in South West England is hiring for a full time Child Protection social worker to help and support local children through working alongside children in need and children in protection through a hybrid role.

You will have the opportunity to use your range of social work skills across the different functions, with a caseload that requires as a minimum - duty home visits, safeguarding planning meetings and telephone triage. You will need to act proportionately to any given situation and ensure that your record-keeping is clear, concise and timely.
