Children and Families LawyerJob OverviewA Local authoirty based in the Greater Manchester area that is well-known for its support, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children and Families Lawyer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation in all aspects of family and children's law.Key Responsibilities
  • Providing legal advice and representation in all aspects of family and children's law
  • Managing a caseload of complex and high-profile cases
  • Conducting advocacy in court and representing clients at hearings and trials
  • Providing support and guidance to colleagues and other professionals
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a current practising certificate
  • Expertise in family and children's law, including experience in public or private law
  • Excellent advocacy skills and experience in representing clients at hearings and trials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under pressure
Rates and Benefits

The rate is £45- £55 per hour depending on experience. The role offers flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for gaining great skills and knowledge.
