Registered Manager for a brand new home in Slough!

Salary: £55,000

Location: Slough

Contract: Full time, permanent

Specific Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

The Opportunity - Registered Manager, Children's Home.

As the Registered Manager, you will be pivotal in shaping and leading this 2 bedded residential service for Children & Young People with EBD.

Your vision, leadership, and dedication will be the driving force behind building a compassionate and dynamic team, fostering a nurturing environment, and establishing a high-caliber service achieving positive outcomes for the young people.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to your home and team

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including local authorities and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and effective communication.

  • Oversee the financial management of the homes, including budgeting and resource allocation.

  • Maintain a focus on the well-being and development of the children and young people in our care, promoting their safety, happiness, and personal growth.



About you:

  • At least two years supervision experience in a management role (Deputy or Registered Manager) within a Ofsted registered residential home

  • Ideally you will have experience supporting young people with EBD / SEMH / Challenging Behaviours

  • Career driven, team player and a strong leader

  • Willing or obtained a Level 5 in Leadership & Management
