Children's Residential Deputy Manager

Location: Croydon
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000
Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at a 3-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) home in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people and support the management of a high-quality residential service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets the emotional, social, and educational needs of the children.
  • Lead and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Implement and monitor individual care plans, promoting the well-being and development of each child.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a children's residential setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the needs of children with EBD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or social work (Level 3 or above).
