I am currently representing Liverpool City Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 Months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a Rate of which is negotiable dependent upon experience.
We are looking for a Children’s SEN Driver you will be based at:
We are currently working with Liverpool City Council to help recruit for a Children's SEN Driver
SEN Transport require 5 drivers to transport students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to and from school within the Liverpool area.
The drivers will be required to work 24.5 hours per week, working of a morning and afternoon, transporting children & young people to their educational settings of a morning from home to school and return journey of an afternoon from school to home.
The Transport Depot is based in Newton Road, L13 and daily routes will be allocated to the drivers. We require the drivers to hold a full UK manual driving licence.
The morning shift will start approximately 7.30am until all children have been transported to school.
The afternoon shift will start approximately 2.30pm until the children are transported home.
The driver will be responsible for completing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of shifts.
Training will be provided on the Local Authorities transport procedures and policies.
