Hours: 37 and HYBRID WORKING
Rate: £32 - £35 per hour
A Children’s Senior Social Worker/Advanced Practitioner is required for the Locality Team in Bradford.
- To safeguard children including those at significant risk of harm, assess and manage risk and undertaken critical decision making including taking professional responsibility for decision making Contribute to the provision of Social Care Services in the Community and other settings.
- Provide an effective Social Work service including assessment, case planning and reviews.
- Operate a Social Work service within departmental policy, practice and procedures.
This role relates to case holding social workers in the following teams:
- Localities
- MASH
- Throughcare and After Care
Ashberry Recruitment would ask that applicants meet the following:
- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Post qualification experience
- Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
- One year minimum post qualified experience in Children’s Social Work
- Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups.
- Possess knowledge of service needs.
- Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
- Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
- Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
