Our Client, Cambridgeshire County Council, is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Family Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Work in partnership with families using the Family Safeguarding model, taking a strengths-based approach to assess need, plan and deliver focused interventions to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.

  • Build meaningful working relationships with children and young people that enable their voice to be heard and their lived experience to be understood. Work with multi-agency colleagues and partners to ensure holistic engagement with children and their families.

  • Provide a high quality and effective social work service to respond to the needs of vulnerable children and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines (CIN, CP, PLO & Court Work through to final orders).

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have a Social Work qualification
  • Must have minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Qualified social worker in a similar team
