Christmas Customer AdvisorJoining us as a Christmas Customer Advisor is a great opportunity, whether it’s your first job and you’re looking to gain some valuable experience, or you have experience with retail and you’re looking for a new challenge.Whilst this is a temporary contract, there could be the potential for a permanent role later depending on the opportunities in your local area, so it could be the start of a new career with us.About the roleChristmas in Boots is our most exciting time of the year, and it can be very busy, so we’ll provide you with all the training and support you need to help you be at your best.You will work in a Boots store and report into the Assistant or Store Manager and your role could be to help on the tills, advise our customers, or work in our back shop. You will also:
  • Help our customers: whether that’s answering questions and giving great advice on our fantastic gifts, showing where a product is or simply offering a basket.
  • Help our stores run smoothly: working with us at Christmas is a great experience and there is always lots to do, so it’s important we make sure it goes smoothly. This could be ensuring we have the right products displayed on the shop floor, providing a great service on our tills, or helping with our stock in in the stock rooms.
  • Work with other members in the team to ensure that the store is always presentable and provide a store everyone can be proud of.
  • Work as a team to solve any issues quickly and support the store’s daily operational activities
What you’ll need to haveFull training is provided, but these are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role:
  • Excel in a varied environment, working at pace.
  • Communicate and listen effectively.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Know that the little things make the biggest difference for customer interactions.
  • Be a proud brand ambassador for Boots and help our customers find the best products for them.
