Excellent opportunity on offer for a Senior Civil Design Engineer / Civil Design manager with experience in the Water industry to join an exceptional company at a very exciting time in their growth in a role where you will deliver high quality design and engineering solutions to a nationwide client base on exciting projects.

In this role you will provide civil engineering design expertise to develop a wide range of industry specific components towards multi-million pound projects across the UK for an industry leading company based out of Somerset.

The ideal candidate will have excellent design experience on a multitude of programmes spanning different 3D CAD design softwares, experience within managing / management, although this can be through mentoring, leading projects or team management.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate senior civil design engineer / manager to join a successful company in a varied and interesting role that offers extensive progression opportunities and the chance to input your ideas and creativity into a high performing & dedicated team.

The role:

  • Ensure the civil engineering team has a strong relationship with other engineering departments as well as delivery departments within the company.
  • Timely, accurate and dedicated outputs across the civil engineering team which are fully compliant with client specification and legislation.
  • Working closely with clients on implementation of Civil engineering design systems.
  • To identify and act upon high potential business opportunities with existing and new client base.
  • Bring innovation and best practice to the civil design team.


The person:

  • Have previous experience in a senior or management role designing civil systems; beneficial to be from a water industry background.
  • Proven experience with using different CAD softwares.
  • Seeking an exciting management role with potential for progression when applicable.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Located in or commutable to Midsomer Norton; Hybrid role.
