Civil/ Structural Engineer

Salary up to £35,000

I am actively seeking a Civil or Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful Multidisciplinary Consultancy based in Surrey. As Civil or Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to participate in high end residential projects, ranging from new build housing developments to refurbished projects.

To be considered for this Civil/ Structural Engineering role, it is essential for candidate to have the following:

  • A minimum of a 2.1 degree in either Meng, BEng or relevant Civil or Structural Engineering
  • A minimum of 1 year's professional experience, preferred in the residential sector
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written
  • Desire to work towards a chartership
  • Previous experience with Tedds or similar software such as Revit or AutoCAD

Duties and responsibilities for this Civil or Structural Engineer include:

  • Prepare structural designs and supporting calculations for new build and renovation projects
  • Attend site visits and design team meetings for upcoming projects
  • Conduct structural reports, inspections on defects and recommended remedial work
