Based in Leicester, my client is a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering. We're seeking a talented Civil Technician to join their busy team and have the opportunity to participate in projects ranging from education, commercial, retail, leisure and culture, heritage, residential and commercial developments, and student housing.
To be considered for this Civil Technician role, it is essential for candidate to have the following:
- A minimum of 2 years' work experience in infrastructure engineering/flood prevention
- Qualifications of either Meng, BEng, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering
- Need to have working knowledge of industry best practice for civil engineering and drainage designs
- exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
Duties and responsibilities for this Civil Technician include:
- Ability to use CAD by creating engineering design plans
- Supervising and reporting on overall project progress
- Ensuring project feasibility through research and cost analysis
