CLAIMS EXECUTIVE
IPSWICH + Hybrid Working
up to £35,000 DoE

The Opportunity:
I am excited to be working with a well-established, nationwide commercial Insurance brokerage who, due to a recent acquisition is in a position to grow their personable team of Claims Executive. You would be working in conjunction with the Head of Claims to ensure a smooth client journey through the claims process.

Responsibilities:

  • To effectively and pro-actively administer and negotiate claims settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Negotiating to reach the best settlement possible for our clients whilst maintaining a good relationship with insurers.
  • To provide support and assistance to the claims manager for any duties assigned to you.
  • To deal with telephone enquiries and refer the call to the appropriate person.
  • Liaise and advise clients colleagues and advise on Claims.
  • Develop and maintain good relations with partner insurers and suppliers.
  • To adhere to claims service standard of new claims handled within 2 days of receipt and post handled within 5 days of receipt.
  • Provide accurate technical advice on policy coverage and explain the claims process dependant on the insurer involved.

Person Specification:

  • Insurance claims experience, ideally within a Commercial environment.
  • Cert CII highly preferred
  • Acturis experience preferred
  • Ability to form and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
