Claims Handler:

  • Full time, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (1 hour lunch break)
  • £21000 - £24000 p/a.
  • Orpington

We are currently looking for a Claims Handler to work within a Law firm in Orpington.

The ideal Claims Handler will be someone with experience working in Insurance claims, or an understanding of managing a caseload of motor accident claims and litigation. Duties are as below:

Claims Handler duties:

  • Preparing evidence for hearings and witness statements.
  • Responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of cases suitable for litigation through to settlement, working on behalf of insurance companies handling claims.
  • Running cases pre-litigation through to settlement by obtaining relevant evidence to support liability and quantum.
  • Ensuring that you review and reply to all correspondence and emails within service level agreements, keeping clients regularly updated.
  • Instructing Barristers/Counsel to attend hearings, whilst complying with all court directions and deadlines.

Hours for the role are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. (One hour lunch break).
