Claims Handler

We have a super opportunity for you here if you have at least 6-12 months claims handling experience, this can be personal lines motor, travel or home as well as commercial motor or property, as this broker will provide full training on the commercial claims they handle, so this offers you a great chance to learn and develop your claims career working for a well-known insurance group, as a Commercial Motor Claims Handler, based out of their office near Witham in Essex.

The team you will be joining are a proactive claims team who go the extra mile for their clients and who genuinely put the customer at the heart of everything they do, so they would like to speak to those who match these values.

You will be responsible handling a portfolio of Commercial Motor claims, such as Commercial Vehicle, Fleet and Motor trade for mid market commercial clients, and will also get the chance to learn and train to handle other commercial claims such as Employers Liability, Public Liability, Property and Professional Indemnity.

You will also be required to proactively manage a diary of open claims to reduce claim lifecycles, dealing with both client and insurer, as well as any other ad-hoc tasks that may be required from time to time. You will also be required to build and maintain relationships with aligned wholesale brokers and insurers and hold these to account for your clients during the claims process. 

You will be rewarded with a starting salary of £24-25k, dependant on experience. 25 days holiday, and an extensive benefits package are also available!!!

Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with an hour for lunch. This will be a fully officed based role, though once probation and training is passed they do offer a hybrid working model. Given the office location, you will also need to drive!
