You've got great insurance claims skills and you are a real people person.

Maybe you are already leading a team of Claims Handlers, or in a Senior Claims Handler role just now ready to make your first leap up into management?

This broking organisation have recently undergone some restructuring and have an opportunity for you to lead the day to day running of their claims division.

Here you'll have a brilliant platform to lead, inspire and instil confidence to your team of Commercial Claims Handlers, playing a key part of the firm's continued expansion of their claims offering.

Day to day you'll directly manage a team of 5 experience Handlers as they navigate the management of commercial cases across the client portfolio.

You'll play that classic Team Lead role where you'll be involved in…

  • Work allocation
  • Technical training
  • Guidance and mentoring
  • Troubleshooting key cases
  • Key client management
  • MI, analytics and insurer relationship management
  • Performance management, coaching and appraisals
  • Management reporting

Your team are all experienced claims professionals, all committed to their own L&D journey which you'll help shape and implement.

The firm are a leading force in the UK insurance market and the culture here is non-corporate with local decision making and a straight-forward, simple hierarchy.

With an organic growth strategy to double the business in the next 5 years, you'll have a big opportunity here if you want to progress beyond the Team Lead role and move up into senior management.

If you have a background in commercial property and liability claims, ideally in broking, then get in touch.

You can be based anywhere around the Central Scotland region for this one as the firm offers great flexibility for hybrid working.
