Class 1 CE Driver - DAYS

Class 1 (C + E) HGV Driver - DAYS

We are working with a client who is seeking for more HGV Class 1 (Cat C + E) drivers to add to their team, working on curtainsider fleet with palletised goods. General Haulage run, needing drivers Mon - Fri, weekend work occasionally.

Main responsibilities:

• Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
• Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop
• Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Experience:

- Class 1 (Cat C + E) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes)

- Valid CPC

- Clean driving record

Location:

Runcorn

Salary:

£15.50 PH, 8 hours minimum paid per shift, breaks paid

Holiday pay accrued separately

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday (Start time approx.. 0500 - 0600)

Weekend shifts available.
