Role Overview:

We are currently hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well-established general haulage company based in Rochester. As a Class 1 Driver, you will play a vital role in the safe delivery of various cargo to numerous clients and destinations across the country. You will be obligated to drive a mixture of curtain side vehicles and flatbeds. In this role you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and ensuring timely deliveries. We also have night driving available if this is your preference. The ability to drive in London is a necessity for this position so please do not apply if you are unable to fulfil this.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Valid LGV CE, HGV 1, Class 1 UK license.
  • UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card).
  • Ability to provide a DVLA license check code.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
