A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Driver Hire Southampton for experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers. For this role you will be responsible for delivering stationary products to commercial areas in and around the Hampshire area.

Information about this Class 2 Delivery Driving role:

  • 12-week temp to perm position working Monday to Friday
  • Around 10-15 drops per shift
  • 7:00am start time
  • Driving Class 2 vehicle where you will be required to operate tail lift and pump truck
  • Deliveries are mostly around the Hampshire area
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks
  • Delivering stationary materials to business and commercial areas

What we require from our Class 2 Drivers:

  • Full UK Class 2 driving licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • Previous experience in a multidrop role is beneficial
  • Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
  • Fantastic customer service and communication skills
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner
  • Good area knowledge
  • Understand manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
  • Comply with companies' health and safety regulations
