We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our rapidly expanding team in Yeovil, with a competitive basic salary of £32,366 per annum and the chance to earn overtime plus up to a £3000 performance-related bonus annually! You'll be joining a premier textile rental and laundry services company in the UK, catering to the hospitality and manufacturing sectors nationwide.
Hours: Standard shift pattern averaging 42 hours per week, with rest day working and overtime available. No overnight stays are required. Shifts typically follow a 4 on 2 off rotating pattern, starting around 02:00 am, ensuring continuous customer service 7 days a week.
As an HGV Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering and collecting linen from customers within the site's service area.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment.
- Driving safely and efficiently in compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Upholding health and safety standards, adhering to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.
Requirements:
- Current and Valid Class 2 Driving Licence
- Current and Valid Digital Tacho Card
- Current and Valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC Card)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Eligibility to work in the UK
