Class 2 HGV Driver

Our client is looking for motivated and reliable Class 2, Category C HGV Drivers to join the distribution team at their Hereford Depot.

Pay

£33,767 per annum

Hours

• Full time, 48 hours per week (rostered average)
• Night-time hours through to morning as required over seven days per week on a rota basis.
• Start times vary based on the individual rounds, however most rounds commence between 2200 and 0200. As with most driving roles, this position is job + finish.

The Class 2 HGV Driver Role

• Safely driving an appropriate vehicle in line with your licence category, remaining courteous at all times while delivering excellent customer service and building good customer relationships
• The punctual delivery of dairy and dairy related products to semi-retail customers on multi-drop rounds, observing stock rotation and conducting your duties to the highest standards
• Being a team player, with the ability to work well alone, problem solving on the road
• Manual handling required

Requirements

• Hold a valid a C License
• Hold a valid Tacho and CPC card
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
• Have a minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience
