Classroom Assistant, Special Needs School
This excellent Special School is looking for an experienced Classroom Assistant /  to provide Teaching Assistant 1-2-1 and class support in a Key Stage 2 class. As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be joining an experienced team of classroom assistants and teachers who love what they do. Staff are friendly and leadership are supportive, this is an excellent setting for a Classroom Assistant who wants to focus on delivering outstanding support to pupils.

Children at this school have a primary diagnosis of Autism and some pupils require 1-2-1 support during the day. Your primary role will be supporting the learning and wellbeing of pupils and ensuring that the class teacher is able to deliver lessons that engage children. If you love breaking down barriers and making learning fun for pupils, this may be the school for you. Job Role:
  • Supporting Key Stage 2 children on a 1-2-1 basis.
  • Working as a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant.
  • Supporting the class teacher and delivering group activities.
  • Making learning fun, engaging and interactive.
  • Helping students to reengage with education.
