Tradewind Recruitment are seeking confident, reliable individuals to join our team of Classroom Cover staff ('Cover Supervisors') across various secondary schools in Chesterfield. You don't need any formal teaching experience - just the ability to engage young people, to stay calm under pressure, and supervise a room of secondary-aged students.
What You'll Do:
- Step into classrooms when teachers are away (work is already set for you)
- Keep students focused, engaged, and on task
- Manage behaviour - following the school's behaviour policy
- Support students in their learning and maintain a calm, respectful environment
This Role Is Ideal If You:
- Have experience working with young people (sports coach, youth worker, camp leader, mentor, etc.)
- Are confident leading a group and handling challenging behaviour
- Want flexible work that fits your schedule
- Are thinking about a future in teaching or education
- The Role Is Even better If you:
- Have a UK driving licence, and car
- Are degree qualified
