Salary: £11.50 per hour Mon to Saturday, £13 per hour on Sunday.

The Role

Housekeeper required for their happy, family run Care Home in Hove.

They provide accommodation, care and support to their elderly residents and need your help to keep on top of the housekeeping to ensure our home is clean and fresh for their residents, staff and visitors. As you will become an important part of their residents daily lives, they are seeking someone friendly who enjoys being around older people as well as the other team members. 

You must be able to work one weekend in two (you have two days off during the week when working the weekend).

Please note that all job offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS (CRB) check.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning of the resident’s rooms and communal areas to the highest standard.
• Working to a daily cleaning schedule.
• Carrying out deep cleans when required.
• Ensuring that visitors are welcomed in to a clean, fresh and tidy home.
• Spot cleaning when required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Good attention to detail.
• Pride in your work.
• Experience of Housekeeping / Cleaning.
• Be able to work one weekend in two (pro rata).
• Good communication skills.
