About the role

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Cleaner is responsible for cleaning the factory and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.

Main duties

• Ensuring the safe use of chemicals.
• Using jet washers to carry out cleaning ready for production start-up.
• Comply fully with cleaning standards set by the department.
• Ensuring no residue when wiping down all equipment.
• Clean the factory to a high standard- adhering to company safety policies.
• Responsible for alerting the Production Manager to any issues that may impact upon the integrity of the clean.
• Responsible for ensuring that waste material is correctly disposed of.
• Participate in mandatory site training relating to health & safety, hygiene and environmental issues.
• Ensure all activities are carried out and signed-off in accordance with hygiene, quality and safety standards;
• Perform a variety of cleaning and hygiene tasks as detailed within the cleaning instruction procedures.

Working hours

• Monday 4:30pm - 7pm
• Tuesday 4:30pm - 7pm
• Wednesday 4:30pm - 7pm
• Thursday 4:30pm - 7pm
• Friday 4:30pm - 6pm
