Salary: £12.06 - £12.80 per hour (depending on seniority)

About Us:

Abingdon School is a leading independent day and boarding school with around 1000 pupils aged 11-18. The School is situated in 35 acres of beautiful grounds in the centre of Abingdon, just south of Oxford.

Cleaners – The Role:

The Abingdon School has vacancies for cleaners to join their exceptional housekeeping department. Cleaners and Cleaning Supervisor positions are available, depending on applicant’s previous experience.

The following shifts are available:

Cleaners:

Monday to Friday (3 or 3.5 hours per day)

5.30 am - 8.30/9 am or 5pm-8.30pm

Cleaning Supervisor:

Monday to Friday (3.5 hours per day)

05.30am – 09.00 am (some potential for flexibility)

All shifts are offered on a term time plus basis requiring the postholder to work a total of 38.4 weeks per year. Term time is usually 34 weeks inclusive of INSET days. The additional working days are to be worked during school holidays.

Cleaners – You:

- For cleaner, experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential as relevant training will be provided

- Cleaning Supervisor should have some experience of staff supervision

- Punctual & Reliable

- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks to a high level under minimum supervision
