Cleaning Operative

Are you an experienced cleaning operative based in Shotts?

Our local client is offering advantageous cleaning positions in Shotts. If you are someone who takes pride within their role in cleaning to the highest standards, then this is the role for you.

This role is perfect for anyone looking to work early mornings as the shift pattern is 6am-9am Mon-Fri.

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Cleaning:
Daily Cleaning Tasks: Follow established protocols and schedules to perform thorough cleaning duties.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure open-plan offices, boardrooms, restrooms, tea points, staircases, and lifts are spotless.
Comprehensive Cleaning: Engage in sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising all surfaces.
Efficient Waste Management: Empty waste bins, dispose of rubbish, replace liners, and keep waste areas hygienic.
Restock and Maintain Supplies: Replenish paper towels, soaps, toilet rolls, and bin bags/liners as needed, and manage cleaning product inventory.
Chemical Safety: Store all chemicals and cleaning products safely and correctly.
Autonomous Work: Complete tasks independently while adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies.

Periodic Cleaning:
Detail-Oriented Tasks: Dust, clean, dry, and sanitise surfaces like filing cabinets and window sills.
Thorough Cleaning: Clean under and behind office machinery.
Fridge Care: Clean fridges and remove expired food items.
Attention to Detail: Wipe down skirting boards, light switches, and electrical sockets, and clean wall hangings as needed.
