Hours per week: Saturday, Sunday - 06:00 - 10:00, 07:00 - 11:00, 08:00 - 12:00 - 8 hours per week

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Cleaning Operative to support our client’s site in London Road, Aylesford, Kent

To provide a High Standard of cleaning within the Essex Police Buildings this would include the cleaning of Office Areas, Toilets/Showers, Kitchen Areas and General Cleaning of Cells.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with the cleaning specification and work schedules including Custody but not Foul Cells.
  • Complete ADHOC jobs as requested by your line manager
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Due to the nature of the work confidentiality is required at all times.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Follow the safe use of chemicals guidance (COSHH).
  • To ensure the handover of any outstanding work.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Good communication skills,
  • Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Attention to detail and proactive.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team
  • Experience in working within a team as well as on your own – essential
  • Knowledge of COSHH
  • Experience:
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including working weekends & Bank Holidays
  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • The applicant will be required to successfully complete a full online Police Vetting procedure
