Jobstore are recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to take responsibility for the weekly cleaning in a local school in Bury. This is a position covering morning and afternoons - 6.00am to 9.00am and then 2.30pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, School term time. Sometimes deep clean requirements will be needed during holiday periods.

Applicants must have an enhanced DBS certificate and have previous hands-on experience of managing and organising small teams of cleaners.

Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Organise and motivate the team
- Schedule the staff rota, ensuring all shifts are covered to deliver effective cleans throughout the school.

Skills:
- Attention to detail: Ability to notice and address small details to ensure a thorough cleaning
- Time management: Efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Communication skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors
- Team Managent: Ability to lead a team working collaboratively with other cleaners or staff members

Good communication skills and previous leadership experience is essential for this position.
