Cleansing Operative

Simple Recruitment are looking for Street Cleansing Driver/Operatives for our client based in Barnstaple area to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

Salary:

From £11.44 per hour

What will you be doing:

• Driving to various sites to keep the areas up to a professional standard
• Cleaning of public toilets
• Emptying litter/dog bins, sweeping of areas, picking up of street litter
• Jet wash / foam wash of weeded areas
• Ensure footpaths and other hard surfaces are in a clean condition
• Providing a service to the public

Other bits you need to know:

The role requires candidates to hold a full driving licence as you will be driving to various sites across the North Devon area.

The above is not a full list of duties undertaken but gives an indication of the varied roles available across the department. An induction/training at site will need to be attended before being put into a shift. You will need to be physically fit, punctual and reliable as you will be working as part of a team.

Hours:

6.00am till 2.00pm Monday to Friday

Flexible to be able to cover 2.00pm - 6.00pm shift

Weekends worked on a rota basis
