£40,000 - £55,000 per annum

Butler Rose are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a qualified ACCA / ACA accountant to join a well-established and growing firm in Wokingham.
Working as the Partner main assistant, this role will independently manage a diverse portfolio of accounting clients, completing year end and management accounts preparation, corporation tax, and personal tax.
Having come about through business growth, this role will support the managing partner whilst they focus on business development. As such, you will be responsible for complex and high value clients and have the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio.

Requirements:

• Ideally you will be ACCA / ACA qualified but nearly or newly qualified candidates will be considered dependent on previous experience.
• A minimum of 3+ years' experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
• Some audit experience is required.
• Experience managing a portfolio of varied clients, completing accounts preparation and the associated tax work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the confidence to work closely with clients.

Duties:

• Manage a portfolio of varied accounts clients.
• Prepare year-end and management accounts, corporation and personal tax.
• Liaise with clients directly to answer financial queries and review accounts.
