Our clients are one of the most respected and established Block Management companies who are looking to recruit an experienced Client Asset Manager. They are a well known property management company specialising in Leasehold, Block and Estate Management for many years. Operating throughout the country, they work with many regional and national developers.

The role:

To assist in the efficient running and development of the department by maximising the overall performance, compliance record, income and profitability.

The portfolio covered will be in the North/East and South London areas

To support the Client in the management of their residential portfolio by ensuring the delivery of block, leasing and tenancy management services.

To oversee the PRS Leasing and Tenant Services teams in dealing with the day-to-day tenant management of residential portfolios owned by the Client, liaising with Landlords, Tenants and Contractors.

To ensure that all activities are in accordance with the service level agreements comply with industry legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities & Duties

To provide a single point of contact for the Client, providing a prompt and responsive service to Client communications.

To manage the onboarding process of the Client’s properties to ensure a smooth transition to the residential management

To ensure the Leasing Service team carry out the lettings process and minimising voids using local and specialist lettings teams

To actively review and report on end of tenancy property condition and required remediation, including repairs, decoration, furnishing etc

To ensure the Tenancy Services team provides proactive and reactive repairs and maintenance to the properties as required

To oversee the teams’ compliance with industry health and safety standards by continual review and assessment of the Client’s portfolio

To attend Client meetings to discuss Lettings and Property Management strategies and policies as and when required

To liaise with the Client to put in place realistic and reasonable annual budgets and expenditure plans

To attend Client sites on a regular basis as required.

To provide regular and ad-hoc reports to the Client as required

To manage complaints and queries as appropriate and in accordance with the Complaints Handling Procedure

To work closely with the Client and internal teams/departments at all times to provide an efficient and effective service to the Client

General

To carry out all duties within ARLA and ARMA guidelines and RICS code of practice

To complete all mandatory online training courses in a timely manner and to take part in optional training courses as considered appropriate by the Head of PRS

To endeavour to remain informed of new relevant legislation and best practice guidelines.

To ensure that FCA regulation guidelines are adhered to in all working practices and behave in accordance with these rules

To be courteous and professional in all dealings with clients, customers, contractors and the general public

To be punctual at all times and to comply with the company Dress Code

To develop business relations with group members in order to maximise cross-selling opportunities

To be an active team member; contributing to the motivation and achievements of the department or branch.

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in Lettings, Property Management and/or Asset Management experience

Driver with own car due to site visits
