Overview

 Gallagher Bassett, are seeking a Client Consultant to support the Senior Client Manager in servicing and developing the Public Sector and Higher Education book of business. We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality support to internal and external customers, as well as strategic partners. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in building and managing customer relationships, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.


How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Client Manager in developing and implementing a client management plan across all stages of the servicing lifecycle.
  • Assist in the development of new revenue opportunities and meeting preparation by identifying client needs, exposures, industry trends, and preparing review packs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality in client service.
  • Handle system setups, onboarding and offboarding, policy and contract renewals, and general servicing and resolution of any issues.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Retain clients and develop appropriate revenue opportunities.
  • Manage internal and external relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to Gallagher Bassett processes.
  • Analyse and identify key client and sector trends.
  • Deliver high-quality tender responses.

About You

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of previous industry experience, preferably in account servicing or claims management
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Proficient in Excel and other relevant systems
  • Experience in resolving client issues and balancing various parties' needs and requirements.
  • Drive for process improvement and change management.
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside core hours and travel away from home or overnight.
