Job Title: Client Manager - Hybrid

Salary: competitive plus bonuses

Location: Leamington Spa

Hours: Full Time (36.5 hours per week), hybrid working is available. Flexi time with 2pm finish on Fridays.

Overview:

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated Client Manager to join a team of dedicated experts committed to supporting businesses and individuals through all stages of their professional and personal journeys. The successful Client Manager will take responsibility for a mixed portfolio of clients within the virtual finance office department of a company committed to employee wellbeing as well as personal and professional development.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Take charge of onboarding new clients, ensuring best practices are implemented from the beginning and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency through processes or technology
  • Review bookkeeping and associated workpapers prepared by staff members
  • Review and approve VAT returns and related workpapers prepared by staff members before sending them to clients
  • Prepare management accounts and related workpapers for clients in your portfolio, presenting them individually or with Senior Manager/Directors when necessary
  • Respond to email and telephone inquiries and provide ad-hoc support to clients
  • Develop and manage your own portfolio of clients
  • Build strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Schedule and attend meetings with clients, accompanied by Senior Manager/Directors when necessary
  • Help manage the daily workflow of the staff and assist with work-related questions, providing training and making decisions as needed
  • Participate actively in planning meetings with managers
  • Ensure compliance with department-specific controls for monitoring job progress and staff workflow
  • Suggest improvements to department-specific controls and processes
  • Supervise staff performance and provide regular feedback to managers
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills
  • Stay fully up-to-date with CPE requirements
  • Keep current with training needs related to soft skills
  • Establish effective communication channels with clients across all services
  • Assist managers in monitoring department-specific KPIs

Experience Required:

  • 2 years in practice, qualified or qualified by experience
