Practice Senior Accountant (£40,000 - £55,000)

Part time / Full Time (Hybrid working available) 

REED Accountancy & Finance are exclusively recruiting for an experienced Practice Senior Accountant (ACA / ACCA Qualified).

My client provides a wide range of Client services to a varied portfolio. Based within the New Forest area, they aim to deliver exceptional service and have an excellent reputation within the local area and surrounds. As part of a welcoming team, my client is looking to offer this Senior appointment on either a full time or part time basis. 

Managing a portfolio of clients, you will be experienced in client liaison, developing relationships, ensuring a high standard of service and working in partnership with a Partner / Director, 

The ideal person will be an ACA or ACCA Qualified with strong academics and extensive exposure to similar work in another accountancy practice.

The role will be very "hands on" and so you will need to be able to work on your own initiative and have a proficient working knowledge of accounting software. 

As well as managing a range of different clients, the role of Practice Senior Accountant will also involve the following day-to-day activities:

  • Reviewing day to day bookkeeping
  • Account preparation
  • Providing insight and analysis to clients
  • Managing TAX / VAT returns
  • Xero Proficiency 
  • Support and advise client queries
  • Preparation of management accounts
Requirements 
  • ACCA / ACA Qualified + Accountancy Practice experience 
  • Working knowledge of relevant accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build long standing relationships
  • Business acumen with commercial mindset
  • Ability to adapt and work at pace
