The role:

The role of a Client Relationship Manager is to provide administrative and technical support to the Technical Analyst and Financial Planner. As you spend more time in this role and start working through your qualifications you will take on more testing and technical responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage own workflow, and support the Technical Analysts with completing of any duties which you feel confident with carrying out and have received sufficient training.
  • Ensure the New Client Journey is followed.
  • Have a basic understanding of the 7 step process and your obligation to meet those ie issuing LifeGoals and Psychometric Risk Profiling.
  • Support the Financial Planner in meeting the client’s needs and objectives.
  • Build trusting and rewarding relationships with our new and existing clients.
  • Manage the Financial Planner’s diary, with booking in the clients’ Future Planning Reviews.
  • To be the first point of contact when somebody telephones the office, answer the phone with a smile!
  • Arrange and manage meeting bookings where required. Issue confirmations by e-mail/post. Complete meetings packs.
  • Meet and greet our clients for their appointments by name, making them feel welcome and offering drinks, advising Financial Planner of their arrival.
  • To complete Future Planning Review Valuation Reports and MiFID II fees document.
  • Carry out file reviews and complete the Future Planning Review Meeting Packs.
  • Support the Technical Analyst(s) and Financial Planner(s) in the implementation of new business (logging fees, invoices, Compliance, tracking through to conclusion, saving documents to Enable, acknowledge receipt with the client and to keep the client and Financial Planner informed).
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the technical, administrative function within the business, allowing all clients to receive a high level of ongoing service.
  • To complete Suitability Letters of a simpler nature i.e. ISA’s and JISA’s (those which do not require preapproval) - all to be checked and approved by the Technical Analyst or Financial Planner prior to issue.
  • Liaising efficiently and respectfully with all providers and relevant third parties.
  • Keep client records (including saving e-mails) on Enable up to date and Compliant, all files should be 100% ready for any spot checks.
  • Adding new clients to Enable (with Introducers where applicable)
  • Provide ongoing support to our clients re changes of address, bank details and other such requests, produce annual SIPP invoices, instructing withdrawals, income payments, surrenders and contribution amendments on clear instruction from the Technical Analyst.
  • Issue Letters of Authority, chase for policy information, build schedules & put existing policies on Enable.
  • Individual workflow and task delivery.
  • Post - opening mail, team e-mail, scanning, filing on Enable, alerting interested parties if urgent attention required.
  • Support the Technical Analysts with any research requests.
  • Keep the teams weekly meeting agenda and supporting documents up to date so that all team members are aware of the current position of any case.
  • Online dealing/trading, but only once the appropriate training has been provided.
  • Ensure that all supporting documents are saved to Enable ie risk questionnaire, Life Goals, Money Habitudes, fact finds.
  • Signing clients up to Wealth Platform, ensuring correct data shown and helping clients with online queries.
  • Educating clients on our service proposition and what to expect from the company.
  • Liaising with and providing case updates and feedback to all Introducer firms as necessary.
  • If requested acquire Annual tax return data for clients/3rd parties.
  • Technical Assistant may from time to time be required to undertake reasonable additional or other duties as are necessary to meet the needs of the business.
  • Ensure stationery levels and office supplies are maintained.

Package Details

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of £30,000 - £36,000 Per Annum.
