A superb opportunity for an experienced deputy manager to work closely with the home manager at this award winning , Good rated medium sized nursing, residential and dementia care home which is part of a growing and successful care provider, has arisen .

The home has a superb reputation and is rated Good by CQC

Set in lovely surroundings this home has a stable and committed team of nurses and carers working across the 3 units in this home each with a unit manager

Working supernumerary hours you will report to the Registered manager and deputise in her absence and lead a team of nurses and carers in ensuring quality care is given to all residents . You will work closely with the nurses and be expected to be a 'hands on' and proactive manager

Liaising with families , GPs and other health care Professionals you will ensure you demonstrate kindness and professionalism and have a good knowledge of care standards, audits, medication, Dols etc.

You will be able to lead a team of nurses and carers and motivate them to ensure the highest level of care is given.

You will be/ have

a background in care management ideally gained within an elderly care home and you must be a nurse with a current PIN.

You will be a self starter able to motivate your team and ensure the excellent quality of care this provider is known for is delivered

You will have excellent knowledge of care standards and be a superb clinician
