Clinical Lead Nurse - Fixed Term Contract

£21.40 per hour

42 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our client’s dynamic healthcare team. As the Clinical Lead Nurse you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to residents. This role requires a strong clinical background and excellent leadership skills.

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid RGN (Registered General Nurse) qualification

  • Proven experience as a clinical lead nurse or similar leadership role in a healthcare setting

  • Strong understanding of person-centred care and experience in applying best practice guidelines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements within the healthcare sector

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of advancements in nursing practice

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team, ensuring adherence to best practice guidelines and regulatory standards

  • Oversee the implementation of care plans and ensure that they are tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient

  • Conduct regular assessments of patients' health status and contribute to the development of care plans

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes and ensure seamless delivery of care

  • Mentor and train nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure professional development and competence

  • Act as a point of contact for patients and their families, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive patient experience

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare facility
