Eventus Legal is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor (Grade B or C) to join a well-established, award-winning law firm in Liverpool. This is a permanent job role which can be performed as a full-time or part-time position with hybrid options. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Clinical Negligence Solicitor will be responsible for managing a caseload and assisting on complex and higher value matters whilst delivering outstanding client care with the assistance of a Paralegal. This will be a varied role within an excellent team of friendly, knowledgeable and supportive professionals.

The team provide advice to clients on a wide range of surgical and medical negligence claims including amputations, brain injuries, GP negligence, diagnosis and treatment to name a few.

The day-to-day responsibilities for the Clinical Negligence Solicitor include:

  • Evaluating cases to establish viability of claims
  • Gathering evidence such as medical records, witness statements and expert opinions
  • Liaising with clients to discuss the best course of action
  • Preparing and filing legal documents
  • Negotiating with defendants lawyers or insurers regarding settlements
  • Representing clients in court where a settlement has not been reached
  • Advising clients on compensation
  • Ensuring compliance with Lexcel and regulatory requirements throughout the process

Person Specification

Applications are sought from experienced Grade B or C Clinical Negligence Solicitors with experience managing their own caseload and are able to demonstrate the following:

  • Commercial awareness
  • Litigation experience
  • Flexible outlook with an ability to prioritise
  • A proven ability to work as part of a team
