Contract - Cloud Azure Security Specialist - Hybrid/Cheshire - Inside IR35 - 6 months initial

We are supporting our well-known IT customer to look forCloud Azure Security Specialist to designing, implementing, and managing the security architecture and controls on the Microsoft Azure platform

• Role: Cloud Azure Security Specialist (JD attached)
• Location: Hybrid/Cheshire (2 days onsite a week)
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months

• Designing, implementing, and managing the security architecture and controls on the Microsoft Azure platform
• Strong in Banking/Financial Services background, enterprise environment
• Design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Proficiency in Azure security services and tools.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Exhibit a strong cybersecurity and domain lead mindset, understanding the intricacies of technology to influence and drive security agendas.
• Identify and mitigate security risks, implementing effective control measures to protect cloud environments.
• Act as a liaison between the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Foundation Service (GTIS), ensuring security is integrated effectively through strong partnerships and collaboration.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide strategic decisions.
• Robust understanding of risk management and security controls within cloud domains.
• Demonstrates a proactive and influential mindset.
• Strong and resilient, capable of making informed decisions and standing by them.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
