Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer 

- City based professional services company

- Salary up to £70,000 plus 28 days annual leave

- Almost fully remote working - 2 or 3 office visits per month.

A leading professional services firm based in the City is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join their IT function. This is a great opportunity to be part of team that design, implement and manage the internal cloud infrastructure (Azure). Duties will include:

- Infrastructure as Code - using Terraform to manage Azure resources as well as configuring Virtual machines, storage and networks

- CI/CD Pipelines using Azure DevOps

- Migration of on-prem applications and infrastructure to Azure

- Automation of infrastructure deployment 

- Implementing Azure security

- Monitoring rules and alerts in Azure Monitor

- Technical support for cloud infrastructure and applications

To be considered suitable you will need to have the following skills/experience:

- Experience of leading on migrations from on-prem systems to the cloud

- Support background across virtualisation, storage and could

- Strong Azure background, including use of IaC tools such as Terraform

- Azure DevOps and CI/CD for release management and pipeline development

- Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell or similar

- Understanding of Azure security principles, identity management and compliance
